Frequently asked questions
Before you book.
Answers to common commercial freight questions.
What information is needed for a quote?
Send pickup and delivery locations, commodity, pallet or piece count, gross weight, dimensions and preferred pickup timing. Include equipment, appointment and access requirements.
Does a quote request book the shipment?
No. The rate, equipment, dates and instructions must be confirmed before the shipment is booked.
Do you handle smaller commercial shipments?
The service list includes LTL for smaller commercial freight. Send dimensions, weight and handling requirements so the appropriate option can be reviewed.
Can you help with Canada–U.S. freight?
Yes, cross-border freight is part of the service offering. Specific lanes, equipment and timing must be confirmed. Your appointed customs broker handles customs brokerage separately.
Is every lane or equipment type available?
Availability is reviewed for the actual shipment. The website does not guarantee a particular truck, equipment type, specialized capability or delivery date.
How do I get an urgent answer?
Call 514-962-0243. Do not rely only on a web form when an immediate shipment decision is needed.
What if the load changes after quoting?
Contact dispatch with the updated weight, dimensions, quantity or instructions before pickup. Changes may affect capacity, timing and rate.
Can I use my existing customs broker?
Yes. The customs broker is chosen by the customer. Demireller transportation and customs brokerage are separate services.
Have freight ready to move?
Send the lane, load and timing. We’ll take it from there.
