Freight services

Canada–U.S. trucking

Cross-border commercial freight with pickup, shipping documents and customs-broker communication considered before the truck reaches the border.

Plan the transportation and the border together

An international shipment needs more than a pickup address. We review the lane and transport requirements, while the shipper and importer arrange the information needed by their customs broker. Keep transport references consistent across the shipment instructions and supporting documents.

What to send dispatch

  • Canadian and U.S. pickup and delivery addresses
  • Commercial invoice and packing details as applicable
  • Importer, exporter and appointed customs-broker contacts
  • Shipment references, pickup readiness and delivery appointments

Clear responsibilities at the border

Demireller provides transportation support and communicates with the customer’s appointed customs broker. Customs brokerage is a separate service. The broker prepares the applicable release filing, and border authorities determine release. Confirm document requirements with the broker before pickup; missing information can affect transit and appointments.

Before booking

Review the written rate and shipment instructions. Tell us about changes in weight, dimensions, loading arrangements or delivery timing before the truck is dispatched.
